“Living Diversity” Has Gone Bilateral

Our project “Living Diversity in Germany and Israel” has gone bilateral. Between April 11 and 13 the German colleagues had a first work meeting with their Israeli partners in Ramat Gan/Israel. The Israel Youth Exchange Authority is supporting the project in the persons of Liana Meirom, international secretary of the youth organization Hashomer Hatzair, and the former ConAct volunteer Alon Spitzer.

Besides the joint discussion of relevant content and focal points of the project, concrete steps have been planned to realize the next stage of the project. In the end of the work meeting the team was introduced to several projects at the offices of the Council of Youth Movements Israel. All of them deal with diversity-conscious education, each from a different perspective.
